I am the new Behavior Coach here at HPA, working with a team of amazing individuals. I worked in Behavioral Health for 13+ years with diverse populations such as SMI-serious mentally Ill, General Mental health, Substance abuse, Trauma-Informed Care, and PTSD with adults and children. As the behavior coach, my goal is to help students discover their strengths, develop and strengthen coping skills, develop healthy relationships and manage and resolve conflict in a healthy way. I am here also for the staff and educational team to help with positive outcomes. I strive to help the student and parents find the resources needed to make sure their student is thriving and successful both in school and at home. A few of my credentials and training are in trauma-informed care, IEP and 504. Anger Management, Self-care, PTSD, Transitional Living Skills, Drug, and alcohol Interventionist for youth and teens and De-escalation
My name is Roxanne Briceno. I am very excited to be part of the Harvest Preparatory Academy team. I earned my bachelor’s degree and my master’s degree from Northern Arizona University- Yuma. Certification acquired from Arizona Department of Education in Guidance Counselor certificate Prekindergarten-12.
