Welcome Back, HPA Parents, Students, Faculty & Staff!
This 2010-11 school year marks the 10th Anniversary of Harvest Preparatory Academy! What a feat! Together, our HPA Team has accomplished more than we ever thought possible. Please visit our newest preschool facility in San Luis to see our hard work in action and show your support.
With expansion comes greater expectation and challenges. We are confident that our fresh faces in faculty and students this year will make a difference in helping us meet those challenges. We have added new teachers to our faculty who are the best-of-the-best in their fields and stem from highly-esteemed universities around the country. We also have enrolled some of the most brightest and promising students from our waiting lists. In particular, our HPA Elementary in San Luis has 100 new students! And most recently, we have promoted former HPA teacher, Mrs. Stacey MacNevin, to MS/HS Curriculum Coordinator. She will perfect that which is already in place and jump head first into the latest in techniques, technology and curriculum.
Our vision this year is to make a difference by becoming the nation’s leading education model for teaching and graduating ELL students. We want to see higher grades, better attendance, and more community involvement. Parents, to accomplish this we need you to bring your son or daughter to school, well-rested, every single day. Students, we encourage you to participate in class and develop your leadership skills in discipline. Faculty & Staff, we encourage you to dig deep into your talents and tap into your inner strength to continue showing that one-on-one attention to every child and each other. If we could sum into a phrase all that we have learned these last 10 years, it would be: together, nothing is impossible.
